This year the annual Firecracker Hamfest, brought to you by our friends at the Harrisburg Radio Amateur Club, is the ARRL’s Eastern PA section hamfest.  The SMRA has 2 tables available for you to sell some goodies.

As always, it’s being held at Emerick Cibort Park in Bressler starting at 8:00am.  Admission is $5 (XYL/harmonics free), tail gating $5 per space.  Talk in on the HRAC W3UU repeater 146.760, minus offset, 100Hz tone.

General club meeting for all members and guests at 7p at the Cumberland County Office of Emergency Preparedness in the basement of the Cumberland County Prison, 1101 Claremont Road, Carlisle. Meet at 6:30p in the parking lot. Talk in on any of the repeaters if you need help finding us.

If we’ve already gone inside, you can come downstairs. Once downstairs, pickup the telephone to tell them you’re attending the SMRA meeting–they will buzz you in the door. We meet in the Situation Room a few doors down on the right.
